频道发展沿革：早年电视台曾开办新闻综合、公共（生活）两套电视频道；媒体融合改革后，公共频道关停整合，全区电视播出资源统一归集至新闻综合频道运营，现阶段融媒体中心仅保留这 1 套电视频道 + 1 套综合广播频率，已全面完成高清数字化制播升级，专属绿色山林主题台标沿用至今，设计融入兴安山峦、林海流线元素，地域辨识度极强。
频道扎根中国最北边疆林区，立足寒温带林海生态、鄂伦春等少数民族风情、北疆红色戍边文化、冰雪文旅核心地域特色，承担地委行署时政宣传、林区生态建设记录、边疆民生保障督办、北方少数民族非遗传承、冰雪森林文旅推广、北疆民族团结宣教综合职能，兼顾林区职工、城乡居民、鄂伦春等各族群众收视需求。
